It's nothing like the heat some parts of Europe got but it was 30C+ Saturday and Sunday night in Zurich and so this weekend was all about staying cool.

Shutters down in the apartment, museums, (some) public transport, trees, and the lake: all the tricks, short of climbing a mountain to see some snow, as air conditioning, at least for now, is still rare here.

The temperature hardly ever even reached 30C during the day when I lived here ~10 years ago; this past sweltering week, I've imagined myself as the proverbial boiling frog.
