Referendum day in Switzerland and, unsurprisingly, the motion to outlaw animal testing - a world-first if it passes - is getting most attention.

On the other end of the spectrum is the tobacco-related motion referenced by this poster in Zurich main station.

Roughly, it reads: "Today tobacco...tomorrow sausages?"

No New Zealand-style effective ban on cigarettes, the (heavily watered down, over time) motion simply proposes outlawing tobacco advertising specifically targeted at children.

I think our sausages are safe for a while yet.
