Hiking in the snow at Brambrüesch, near Chur in eastern Switzerland.

Quite overcast despite the ~2000m altitude but we didn't mind: very well-groomed walking trails in the snow weaving in and out of the forest were new to us, lovely, fun to photograph, and easy to plan thanks to a helpful regional website.

On the way home, a few moments exploring Chur: capital of the largest Swiss canton of Graubünden/Grisons and supposedly the oldest Swiss city, we found a surprisingly large, beautiful, and walkable city centre deserving much more time.

Overall, a must-return.
