After a couple of visits to Colorado confined mostly to Boulder, it was great to finally get a few solid days in Denver.

This is a selection of street art I found one morning in and around the River North Arts District where I spent a morning happily wandering while sampling fantastically strong and dark beers at Epic Brewing and juicy porchetta sandwiches at Denver Central Market.

The neighbourhood's name is usually shortened to RiNo: that unfortunate abbreviation is a sure sign of a recent, manufactured neighbourhood - a redevelopment that hasn't worked out for everybody, as called out by some of the public art here.
